Overview
PikMo, a premier platform for food deals and restaurant recommendations, is seeking a Senior software engineer. The successful candidate will lead our engineer team, responsible for full-stack development, advertising and recommendation systems, payment system, and cross-platform architecture to support the company’s global strategy and operational scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of core platform modules including dynamic content rendering, advertisement and recommendation systems, and payment system.
- Work closely with the CTO to align system architecture with strategic business goals and product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, mobile and data teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and maintainable software components.
- Serve as a senior contributor in code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering decision-making.
- Improve system scalability, performance, and flexibility through innovations such as LLM model, recommendation algorithm, template reuse, caching strategies, and component modularization.
- Coordinate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of key milestones.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and tools, proactively introducing new technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
- 8+ years software engineering experience with 3+ years successfully managing 10+ engineer teams
- Strong proficiency in backend architecture, database architecture, advertising and recommendation system, and cross-platform optimization.
- Expertise in performance optimization methodology and verified impact cases (e.g., revenue growth, efficiency gains)
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with international teams
- Fluent English/Chinese for technical discussions/documentation/meetings

Pikmo is opening a new branch in Adelaide and we are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic Analyst Programmer with experience in CRM systems, a strong understanding of data analytics platforms, and Agile methodologies. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative solutions that transform businesses; as we expand in South Australia, this onsite role will be the technical bridge alongside our local operations team, focused on onsite updating and real-time enhancements.
Position Overview
The Analyst Programmer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining CRM systems and data analytics platforms. You’ll ensure the smooth operation of business‑critical applications by troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and delivering innovative, small-batch improvements tailored to the Adelaide market. Working closely with operations locally and the HQ Technical Department, you’ll align technology with business objectives and support Pikmo’s growth and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the onsite technical bridge in Adelaide: partner with operations to translate real-world issues into rapid technical fixes and updates.
- Onsite updating & real-time enhancements: design, test, and implement small code/config changes (e.g., CRM fields, integration, reporting filters) with quick validation and safe rollback.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application and integration issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Work with stakeholders to define/refine business requirements; test, debug, and optimize code to maintain high standards.
- Adopt Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), continuously improve local delivery processes, and contribute to CI/CD and release hygiene.
- Security & privacy execution: assist with baseline controls (patching cadence, backups, least‑privilege access), keep evidence for audits, and support customer security questionnaires.
- Enable users & customers: explain technical concepts in clear language, provide quick trainings/runbooks, and improve first-contact resolution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Proficiency in database design and SQL; experience with RESTful APIs/integrations and version control (Git).
- Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and the software development life-cycle.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to lead swift onsite diagnosis and resolution.
- Desirable: project management experience or certifications; exposure to data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI/Tableau/Looker, BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift); familiarity with POS/EFTPOS, hospitality workflows, and basic networking (LAN/Wi‑Fi, DNS).
